We know how important it is that landlords know exactly what services we offer, and how much those services will cost. In addition, all agents are obliged to change the way we display our pricing with VAT.
Now, all fees need to show VAT included in pricing and so instead of showing a management fee as 10% + VAT, it will now be displayed as 12% including VAT (but the amounts they equal are exactly the same!)
In addition, we’ve significantly flushed out the details of the level of services we offer covering all aspects of the lettings and property management process and just what is covered under which service.
We also included several clauses regarding deposits which are protected under the The Tenancy Deposit Scheme as it was suggested there needed to be a better understanding of what obligations landlords have at the end of a tenancy, especially when there is a dispute.
We’ll be rolling out these new agreements as and when new tenancies are started and will supersede any previous agreement with a Lime Lettings.
